First Downtown Duty-Free Shop Opens in Shanghai

(Yicai Global) Aug. 23 — China Duty Free Group has opened Shanghai’s first tax-free store that is located near the center of the eastern city in Pudong district.

Foreigners and residents of the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao, as well as the province of Taiwan, may reserve their tax-free goods at the two-story, 800-square meter store before their flights and pick up the products at the Pudong International Airport in the area after customs.
