Fosun International Vice Chairman and CEO Liang Xinjun, Another Executive Resign

(Yicai Global) March 29 — Fosun International Ltd.Vice Chairman and CEO Liang Xinjun, and the company’s executive director and senior vice president Ding Guoqi have announced their resignations.

Fosun International Ltd. (HKG: 0656) reported to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Liang’s resignation as executive director, vice chairman, chief executive officer and remuneration committee member of the company effective yesterday for “health reasons.” Ding Guoqi withdrew as the firm’s executive director and senior vice president, citing a need to “spend more time with family.”

Liang is one of Fosun International’s founders. Since Fosun Group’s formation in November 1994, Liang has served as vice chairman of the company. Ding Guoqi was appointed Fosun International’s board director in 2003.
