JD.Com Raises USD3.8 Billion via Hong Kong Share Sale

(Yicai Global) June 17 — JD.Com has raised HKD29.8 billion (USD3.8 billion) via its secondary listing in Hong Kong, according to the e-commerce giant.

The figure could rise by HKD4.5 billion (USD580.6 million) if the Nasdaq-listed company exercises its greenshoe option, the Beijing-based firm said in a statement today. The 1.2 billion shares, priced at HKD226 (USD29.20) apiece, were oversubscribed by about 179 times.
