JD.Com Receives Over 50,000 Reservations for New Huawei Mate Xs in Just One Hour

(Yicai Global) Feb. 26 — More than 50,000 people made reservations on e-commerce site JD.com for the new Huawei Mate Xs in the first hour after it hit the shelves today.

The new foldable phone retails for CNY16,999 (USD2,424) in China, some CNY2,000 cheaper than the European price announced on Feb. 24.

It is unclear how many people have reserved the phone directly with Huawei or on Alibaba’s Tmall.
