Wuhan Asks Residents to Sign Up for Covid-19 Tests by Tomorrow

(Yicai Global May 25 — Wuhan’s residents who have not yet been tested for Covid-19 need to sign up for nucleic acid tests by 5 p.m. tomorrow evening, according to the municipal government’s notice published today.

The central Chinese city’s residents must accept testing at the 231 sites that the local administration has set up since May 23 to rule out infections among all of the municipality’s 11 million people.

The city started testing its entire population on May 15 and more than 9 million residents have already gotten tested by yesterday. Medical workers have been set out to reach special groups including the elderly and those with reduced mobility.
